Tomorrow is pumpkin carving day!

We have two gigantic pumpkins waiting to be carved up. Kristanna has been asking for the past three days, but since we have so many bears roaming around this time of year, I told her she had to wait until the day before Halloween!
She doesn’t really want to carve the pumpkins so much as harvest the seeds and eat them! I posted a recipe for sweet & salty pumpkin seeds on my other site, but just happened to come across this one, which sounds very tasty as well!
Spiced Pumpkin Seeds:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
- Combine the margarine, salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and pumpkin seeds. Mix thoroughly and place in shallow baking dish.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Notes:
You can substitute olive oil for the butter if you wish, seasoned salt for the regular salt, and even sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top for the last 6-8 minutes!

These sound scrumptious and I have a bowl of seeds sitting on my counter. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Fun blog…I found you with the randomizer. Good Luck.
I’ve never baked OR eaten them. Thought about it this year, but it’s just as easy to throw them out, I guess.
