Salt water flush problems in cyberspace

Diet/Health Buzz - - Posted on June, 18 at 10:02 pm

I’ve noticed a bunch of searches lately coming in for ’salt water flush not working’, etc., so I thought I’d reiterate.

The lady who I did the Master Cleanse with had the same problem. She drank the salt water mixture for about 3 days straight and nothing happened. I saw her at work on the third day and even her co-workers were steering clear of her, thinking she was going to blow at any minute!

She was using sea salt, but it didn’t say ‘non-iodized’ on the box, so she bought some that was clearly marked as ‘non-iodized’. I saw her the next day (again, she was at work), and she had a big grin on her face.

“It worked, it worked!”, she shrieked, “and HOLY SHIT was that ever an experience!” (pun intended, I’m sure)

So again, here is the salt water flush recipe which you do in conjunction with the MasterCleanse:

On an empty stomach, drink 2 tsp of non-iodized sea salt dissolved in 4 cups (something like 62 oz) of warm water. I find it easier with a straw, but my girlfriend fills up her water container and downs the entire thing as quickly as she can.

Drink it down and DO NOT under any circumstances, leave the house for at least an hour or so. The flush should work in 20-30 min or so, but everyone’s different - just don’t take any chances - you WILL be sorry!

I’ve really been thinking about doing one of the cleanses for a while now, and am really thinking of getting one now.

    I’m nervous though…

Hmmm … perhaps this would at least serve to clean the pipes out a bit … even without the rest of the diet. Thinking … thinking …

Man alive! With IBS, I don’t mess with stuff like this. I’d NEVER be able to leave the house!

It is good to know such recipes. Though, I never needed something like that. Desert life makes it natural, once every month

    4 cups = 32 oz, not 62.

LOL I thought it was 1 teaspoon. No wonder it’s not working. Thanks!

It’s 9 a.m. and I downed the salt water at 7:30ish. Still nothing. Just some mild gas pains, a full feeling and urination.

I used two rounded teaspoons of non-iodized sea salt for a quart of water–that should be more than enough.

It’s odd, because I’m very regular and usually express in the morning, every morning. Maybe the cleanse just isn’t for me.
