Hockey weekend: 9th place out of 16 teams!

Which is pretty damn good if you ask me!
Our team played four games - we lost the first game 3-2, tied the second game 6-6, tied the third game 3-3 and then WON the last game 4-2! They were really good games - the whole team played hard and had fun to boot!
Kristanna is always so much fun to watch. She’s the sweetest, most kind girl….. until she puts a pair of skates on her feet! Then she turns into a crazy skating brute!
I promised both Grandmothers a few pictures, and although they are a bit dark, I think you can still see what’s going on.
Here she is taking a face-off. Kristanna used to be a winger, but now plays center.
As soon as this happened, Mikayla and I both sucked in air, and said “uh oh…I pity the kid who just did that.”
…. and of course, she didn’t disappoint.
So that wraps up hockey in our household for another season. But by God, those two had better be on the same team next year! I consider myself to be a pretty supportive Mum, but separate teams is too much for even me!

I feel your pain - my daughter just joined her second basketball team. This four days a week thing is killing me. Add to that my son’s new initiation into the Black Belt Club at tae kwon do, and that’s now three to four days. Ack!!!!
