Hockey Awards Night

Apparently also known as ‘The night I blew my diet by eating like I’d never seen farking food before!’ (I’ve borrowed the term ‘farking’ from Ms Crunchy Carpets herself - it’s perfectly public, and gets your point across at the same time!)
The best part of the awards were the little guys. At that age every player gets something, (of course nothing fancy like a Rolex ) but they were over the moon to receive their little trophies, which were also piggy banks! Anyhoo, we got our team pictures back, and might I just say that I think I have the two most beautiful hockey players around!
Sometimes I look at my girls and can’t believe they are the same two that I’m sure were just babies yesterday!
So now we say goodbye to hockey and hello to soccer!

They are beautiful, just like their mother.
My son is 5 and can’t wait to get his first soccer trophy. The only problem some other teams from the YMCA have already given out tropies to their players and he feels like he might never get one. The whole reason he was willing to try soccer this season was for the trophy….. whatever works to get them off of the video games right?:mrgreen:
