About Me

Once upon a time there was a little Canadian girl who liked to draw check marks on her face:
She grew up to spend a lot of time on her hair:
But it paid off, and she was immortalized in a mural in her hometown:
She graduated high school with a very bad perm and two caterpillars for eyebrows:
She then went on to college, and found the fabulous world of college guys, partying… and even bigger hair:
After college she met a boy and had two baby girls:
(and strangely enough, she thought those glasses were small, and wants you all to know that she was VERY pregnant in this picture)
After her first baby girl, her boy finally made an honest woman out of her:
Her boy became a man and went to the RCMP Academy - where she developed a love affair with red wine (and up-do’s):
A few years later at Halloween she thought she’d see what it was like to be a nerdy brunette:
She eventually hit her mid (to late… but who’s counting?) thirties, and got a proper haircut and glasses:
She knew her two girls would be heart breakers from the get go:
She was misty eyed on their first day of Kindergarten and Grade 1:
And she wonders, when she looks at her girls pictures on Facebook….. where have her babies gone?:
And where on EARTH is their Mother while they’re in their rooms taking these types of pictures??????
Oh right. There she is. Drowning her sorrows, and not counting the candles on her birthday cake.

Love ya girlfriend!
LOVE IT!
And as always, you crack me up!!
This was so well done!
Your girls are gorgeous and yes, you shall have your hands full as it appears that they definitely took after their mom in the looks department!
As for those candles on your birthday cake, count them and appreciate every one for they represent the years of a life that, though maybe not perfect, is yours and yours alone. May all of the candles in your future bring you nothing but joy and happiness with beautiful memories to take you into the future.
This made me misty eyed, as we have one more week ’till our baby girl starts Kindergarten.
You’re a brave soul posting those old pictures but I ♥ ya for it!
No extra pillow room because of all that hair
The kids are gorgeous and so is the mum.
