The Buzz Queen

Last night I met up with some old friends while Kristanna went to the pool with one of their daughters. They have property on Kootenay Lake, so we headed down there with some nice cold beer.

They bought this property last year, and have developed it to be a permanent spot for their travel trailer.

They’ve done an amazing job down there since I saw it last. Of course I noted the extra spot they’ve made, and how perfectly our trailer would look parked there!

The lake was flat calm, so we decided an evening booze cruise was in order!

This is Denis, our Captain - Denis is the closest thing to a big brother for me.

He’s known me almost my entire life, and I’ve been close friends with Candi, his wife, since I was 15 and she was 17. It is their oldest daughter who is my Goddaughter, and the one graduating this Friday. They are family to me, and it’s so nice to be around them

Fish were jumping all around us, so we put in a few lines, but only caught a little rainbow - which of course got put back so he can grow!

Tonight is a family dinner at the one-and-only Chinese restaurant. Tomorrow Mum has an appointment in Cranbrook, and then we will rush back in time for the Grad ceremonies at 7pm. Time has flown by so quickly - I just can’t believe it’s been almost 18 years since my Goddaughter was born!
