A camping we will go…

It’s the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada, and as we have yet to use our new travel trailer, we’re packing up and heading out to the lake for four days of camping!
The Mountie has actually already headed out with the girls, and I will be joining them with Mattie soon. I had some work to finish up, and needed to get about 8 loads of laundry done first. The bonus is that they’ll have everything all set up by the time I get out there! (Smart thinkin’ on my part!)
My camera is all charged up and ready to go, so I won’t need to take a video card along. I’m hoping to not be snapping pictures like these while camping however:
If you’re wondering, that’s a black bear. (I was a little slow on the draw) We saw four on our drive into town the other day, so they are definitely out and about! The bears I don’t worry about much, it’s the cougars that give me the shivers!
This will be Mattie’s first time camping, so I’m hoping we’ll all be able to manage!

The first thing I thought of was Mattie! With all those critters creeping around, I sure hope he won’t take off after something bad! I know that you’ll be on the alert…
